We've seen a fair amount of Queen Rania of Jordan this autumn. She was in New York last month, looking typically smart and stylish in a pair of tailored culottes. Yesterday she popped up at the airport in Los Angeles, showing off a simple, one-note outfit — a departure from the grandiose ensembles she often sports on official visits or engagements, but in line with the sleek and sophisticated looks befitting fashion royalty.
The Queen wore a simple black knit top, which was an elegant complement to her cropped trousers. Ankle boots grounded the look for a leg-lengthening effect while accessories — a retro-inspired flight bag and classic Louis Vuitton valise — added that regal polish.
