This Picture of Maria Sharapova and Simone Biles Might Be the Most Powerful Photo from Fashion Week.

Maria Sharapova and Simone Biles were twinning in high-low fashion, and it is the most powerful New York Fashion Week photo we’ve seen yet.

The athletes were at the Vera Wang Collection show on Tuesday in similar black tuxedo-inspired outfits. Both women, who sat front row with Anna Wintour between them (we cannot imagine what that conversation was like), showcased their strength in more masculine suit-like styles, but with feminine twists.

Biles’s Vera Wang dress was sleeveless with lapels and a suit jacket-style front closure down the middle. The gymnast completed the outfit with black pumps. Sharapova, on the other hand, went for a similar look but in a different way; she wore a jumpsuit with wide legs, a plunging neckline and lapels, and a thin black belt around her waist. The tennis player spiced up the look with leopard-print heels. They both opted for simple, neutral makeup.

However, there is one major chasm between the two ladies. They posed for photos together, and it’s hard not to notice the major height difference: Sharapova towers at 6 feet 2, while pint-size Biles is 4 feet 9, and both women were in heels.

However, the fact that they are two of the most powerful women in sports — Sharapova with five Grand Slam titles and Biles with four Olympic gold medals — closed the gap between them, putting them on an even, and stunning, playing field.

We love seeing strong women together, so we’re naming this the Grand Slam Olympic gold photo of NYFW. That’s not a thing, but we just made it one.
