But in an age where we're increasingly valuing ease in what we put on our bodies, most of us can agree on one thing: The wide-leg jean is where it's at. "It's 2026: If you're still wearing jeans that feel uncomfortable, then you're doing it wrong!" says Marissa Lawson, director of the Portland, Maine, clothing boutique, Bobbles and Lace.

Wide-leg jeans are comfy, roomy, trendy and flattering. “They extend your legs and cinch your waist to give your figure a more fit appearance,” says David Taveras, a New York City-based fashion stylist. “And that's the great thing about a wide-leg pant: It flatters all figures.”
